Susan Aman is a Software Developer at the Children’s Hospital Informatics Program. She has over 10 years of experience in the internet industry. After graduating from college, Susan worked briefly overseas, doing desktop publishing for a Publications company in London, England. Upon her return to the states, she entered the internet world as a technical support associate at Firefly Inc., an internet startup in Cambridge founded by members of the MIT Media Lab. From there, she expanded her expertise through various technical training, programming classes and hands-on experience at iCast Corporation (a CMGi company). Prior to joining the HealthMap team, Susan spent 7 years managing the technical components of faculty and staff related projects at Northeastern University’s Educational Technology Department.
Susan is also a co-owner of the company DKS Interactive, LLC. Founded in 2005, DKS has worked with clients such as Harvard University, Northeastern University, U.S. Department of Justice, City of Boston, National Science Foundation, and National Institute of Health, building smart web solutions.
